Privacy notice
How LM Plumbing uses your information
Last updated 25 August 2026. This notice applies to enquiries and bookings made through this website.
Who controls your data
LM Plumbing is the data controller for personal information submitted through this website. For privacy enquiries, call 07305 839851. We will verify requests before disclosing or changing personal information.
What we collect
We collect your name, contact details, postcode, service need, preferred appointment details, customer type, job description and technical security information needed to prevent abuse. We do not request payment-card or special-category information in the booking form.
Why we use it
We use enquiry and booking details to respond, plan the work and take steps at your request before entering a contract. We use limited technical security data for our legitimate interests in protecting the service, preventing fraud and maintaining reliable records. We do not use booking data for marketing unless separate permission is obtained.
Lead prioritisation
The service may assign an operational priority from the urgency and service information you provide. This helps staff order call-backs; it does not make a legally significant decision and a member of staff reviews each request.
Who processes it
We use Supabase for database, authentication and storage services; Vercel for website hosting and optional consent-based analytics; Cloudflare Turnstile for abuse prevention; and Google Maps only when you choose to load it. Their processing may involve international transfers protected by their contractual and legal safeguards.
Retention
Unconverted enquiries are scheduled for deletion after 12 months of inactivity. Completed-job records may be retained for up to six years where needed for contractual, tax or legal claims. Operational notifications are retained for 90 days, rate-limit records for 24 hours and privacy/security audit events for 12 months. Legal holds can suspend deletion where necessary.
Your rights
You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and may withdraw optional consent at any time. Call 07305 839851 to make a request. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
Customer records are protected by role-based database policies, staff multi-factor authentication, encrypted transport, restricted storage and audit logging. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
